Paulette M. Charles

Paulette M. Charles, age 99, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Bridgewater Rehabilitation Centre in Hartford City, Indiana.

Paulette was born June 10, 1919 in Basse Sur Le Rupt Vosges, France the daughter of the late Emile and Irma (Vannson) Jean-Georges.  She married Robert E. Charles on December 4, 1944, and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2016.

Paulette retired from RCA and was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Marion.

She is survived by a daughter, Dylett Boyer of Warren; 4 grandchildren, Andrea (Rick) Hahn, Tiger (John) Seadler, Nikki (Steve) Beer and Stephanie Vickrey (Kendra Lutz); 7 great-grandchildren, Brittany McCorkles, John Seadler, Jr., H’Anna Boyer, Rebecca Seadler, Tyler Beer, Lily Hahn and Wyatt Beer; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Charlie McCorkles and Emma Lou McCorkles.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dessie Jean-Georges and a sister, Juliette Olsen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Father Christopher Roberts presiding.

Burial will follow the funeral mass in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
