Philip A. Morrow

Philip A. Morrow, age 78 of Marion, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.

Philip was born April 9, 1943 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Lawrence and Donna (Hoyt) Morrow.  He married Brenda Snyder on June 23, 1995, and she preceded him in death on November 17, 2011.  Philip was a former member of the 9th Street Gang, and had a deep passion for show cars.  He had three show cars of his own and enjoyed going to car shows, especially the James Dean Festivals.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Julie) Morrow of Marion and James Morrow of Santa Monica, California; his twin sister, Phyllis (John) Rohrer of Grand Rapids, Michigan; sisters, Charlotte Koetsier of Idaho, Shirley Bunfill of Marion and Melanie (OD) Purser of Marion; 2 grandchildren, Ashley Carlin and Deborah Morrow; and three great-grandchildren, Hope, Joy and Max.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Morrow.

As per Philip’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no funeral services.
