Rebecca A. Farr

Rebecca A. Farr, age 77, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Rebecca was born on September 29, 1941 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Warders) Lines. 

She married James R. Farr on June 30 1961, and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2019.  She was a devoted member of Temple Congregational Church in Marion.  Rebecca worked as a secretary for K.J. Brown in Marion and was also a teacher’s assistant in the GED Program at Tucker Vocational Center.  She loved her family dearly and loved working in the yard and growing several different plants and flowers.

Rebecca is survived by two sons, Timothy Farr of Marion and Aaron (Jasmine) Farr of Gas City; one daughter, Lori (Jerry) Bishir of Marion; sister, Susan (Lines) Hurt of DuPont, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Patrick Farr; brother, Stephen Lines; sister, Barbara Hubartt; granddaughter, Amanda L. Farr and a great-granddaughter, Amaia J. Mitchell.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Jahn officiating.
