Rex A. Boucher, age 78 of Marion passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on Sunday morning, July 10, 2022.
Rex was born on August 2, 1943 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Lindel and Lettie (Poe) Boucher. He was a farmer. He married Mabel “Roseann” Brock on February 3, 1963, and she preceded him in death on August 14, 2008.
Rex enjoyed drag racing in his younger years in the “family car” which was a 1965 GTO. He loved his family, working in his yard, and watching his granddaughters play softball. Rex was an all-around handyman and could fix anything. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching TV and listening to music.
He is survived by his children, Lori Ann (Kevin) Harlan, Brian (Cindy) Boucher, and Connie (Jamie) Plummer; grandchildren, Dustin Harlan, Andrea Gorham, Caitlin Brewer, Kevin James Harlan, and Angeline Spitler; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Darrin Boucher.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Thrailkill Cemetery in Swayzee, Indiana.
