Sandra K. Randall

Sandra K. Randall, age 75, of Marion passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born October 9, 1943 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Roy King Jr. and Roberta Marie (Riddle) King.  Her mother survives.

She married Farrell D. Randall on October 29, 1960 and he preceded her in death on November 10, 2007.  She was matron at the Grant County Sheriff’s Department during five different administrations starting with Ron Mowery and retiring from the Reggie Nevels administration after 33 years of service.  Sandra enjoyed gambling especially in Las Vegas and Tunica, Mississippi with her husband.  She went back to Tunica on her 70th Birthday and also went to Harrah’s (Hoosier Park) and the Blue Chip Casino with her mother.  She also loved to crochet and go to craft shows and sell what she had made. 

Sandra is survived by her mother, Roberta Marie King of Marion; son, Grant (Debbie) Randall of Marion; daughter, Belynda Baker (Todd Johnston) of Avon, Indiana; a brother, Dave (Joyce) King of Marion; two sisters, Lorraine (Butch) Faulk of Marion and Rita (John Schiferl) Morris of Redmond, Washington; 6 grandchildren, Holly (Jesse) Stauffer, Matt (Amanda) Dennis, Stacey Dennis, Joshua Randall, Jacob (Victoria) Randall and Derrick (Alexa) Randall; 10 great-grandchildren; and several great friends.

Sandra was also preceded in death by a brother, Keith King.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Visitation will also take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the funeral home.  Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Trexler officiating.

Burial will take place in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana immediately following funeral services.
