Shana Leigh (Keen) Martz

Shana Leigh (Keen) Martz, age 49, of Somerset passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 9:40 p.m. at the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Shana was born on September 16, 1970 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Richie and LouAnn (Herniak) Keen. 

She was a loan officer and auditor at Beacon Credit Union for 26 years.  She enjoyed reading Christian books, playing Bingo and was an avid Indianapolis Colts and Pacer fan.  She loved shopping and jewelry.  She attended and supported Blake at all of his high school sport activities while at Southwood High School.  She enjoyed cookouts, playing scratch-off lottery tickets and going to church.  She was a lady of diverse interests but most of all she loved her family.  She had attended LaFontaine Christian Church.

She is survived by her son, Blake Martz of Somerset, Indiana; and two sisters, Kelly (Keen) Burns (James Grant) and Brooke (Keen) Robertson.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Grace Community Church, 1810 E. Bradford Pike, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at noon with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating. 

Burial will follow funeral services in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County, Indiana.
