Sherrill R Pence

Sherrill R. Pence, age 90, of Marion, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.

Sherrill was born May 18, 1932 in Converse, Indiana the son of the late Russell and Ona (Nestleroad) Pence. He married Carole Snyder on June 28, 1958.

 He was  proceeded in death by one brother; Von Pence and two sisters; Lois Pence and Marsha Butler and his beloved  Norwegian Elk Hound named “ Teddy “.

Sherrill retired from Chrysler and was a member of the UAW. He was a great guy; he was also a handy man and could fix anything. Sherrill enjoyed traveling with his wife Carole to Tennessee.

Sherrill is survived by his wife Carole and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may attend a graveside service on May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Estates of Serenity, 2225 S. Lincoln Blvd., Marion, Indiana, with Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Grant County Animal Shelter or Disabled American Veteran
