Obituary
Tamela L. Warren “Red”, age 61, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2023 in her home.
Tamela was born on October 6, 1961, in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of the late Leamon and Bonnie Sue (Cunningham) Hawkins.
Tamela loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her greatest achievement in recovery was when she was baptized at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church on February 27, 2022. She was full of life, and always found something to joke about even when times were tough.
She is survived by her children, Kristiana “Kristi” (Rob) Jolloff, Stephanie (Xaiden) Keller, Steven Hamilton, Brittany (Andy) Meier, Monn Sanders, and Will (Megan) Snell; sisters, Tonia Marshall and Angie Marshall; brothers, David (Walter) Nicholas and Pernell Marshall; a sister-in-law, Wanda Hawkins; and 15 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Hawkins.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor David Miller officiating.
