Larry was one of the kindest, gentlest and happy, silly, and funniest men I've ever know. We knew each other just a year but that year was very special. Larry made me laugh, smile and even feel some tears when he talked about his family. He felt such joy in his children, grand children and great grand children, he would talk about them with such pride and joy, it was an honor to have him share this with me. We laughed about his last visit with his brother, and his pride in his brother's work. Yes, Larry shared a great deal of his life with me, letting his love and pride in all of his family shine in every word. His generosity in sharing was a sign of the warmth this man had, he was my best friend and I will miss him always.
